Long Range Bluetooth Serial Adapter with inbuilt antenna and special firmware to handle DTR/DSR signal handling over bluetooth.
LM048SPA is the world's first Bluetooth Serial Printer Adapter for RS232 cable replacement between devices (usually a printer and POS terminal/PC) which use DTR/DSR handshaking.
This adapter comes with a unique patented firmware which can transmit the DTR/DSR signal over a bluetooth link.
This means that the printers that use DSR line for error reporting can use this adapter and still report errors like "paper out", "power failure" etc over a bluetooth link.
LM Technologies Ltd provides a PC application called LM149 Configuration Software to configure these adapters. This device is interoperable with any Bluetooth device using Serial Port Profile, which includes our own Bluetooth USB adapters.
