Ethernet Access Point / Server

This Ethernet Access Point connects RS232, 422, 485 serial devices to an ethernet LAN/WAN providing a reliable communication via a virtual com port on the host pc. The LMPort can be configured as a TCP Client / Server or UDP. The LMPort operates in Direct IP Mode, Virtual COM Mode and Paired Mode. For added security in Server Mode Individual Client Sessions are supported and management access is password protected.

This provides the ability to connect Bluetooth devices to the internet allowing remote monitoring / control of the Bluetooth devices. The virtual com port is designed to establish a connection with the device connected to the COM port in the PC. The LAN becomes transparent to the serial device and the software running on the PC. LM Port also offers a HEART BEAT feature to insure reliable communications connection.
