In 2008 after 4 successful years LM decided to grow its R&D department and develop a range of Bluetooth modules that would be sold into industry markets around the world. LM decided to focus our business into these markets by creating two divisions, Business that focuses on modules and wireless adapters and Home that focuses on retail plug & play adapters
LM Business offers a wireless integration path. This starts with our add on wireless adapters LM048,58 and as their numbers rise we offer them our LM400 a 12pin plug and play module for easy integration onto the PCB. This enables companies to produce one PCB and choice dependent on their volumes whether to Bluetooth enable there product as per their demand. Once numbers are stable we move these customers to surface mount modules for high volume.
