Logistics
With the construction industry not only being more safety conscious it now needs to prove where, when and what the trucks have delivered
Here are some examples of where Bluetooth is being used.
- how much water has been added to the cement load onsite before pouring
Cement is mixed to a set recipe before leaving the depot. If the site manager wishes to add extra water onsite before pouring the water meter reading is bluetoothed to the printer for a signed receipt of water added thus protecting the cement company is the batch is proved faulty due to incorrect water amounts.
This can be achieved with either our LM048 RS232 adapters or with one of our modules embedded into the water meter.

• Receipt batch printing with use of our Bluetooth enabled printer delivery receipts can easily be printed, monitoring arrival / departure of each truck at the depo
• Bluetooth the number recognition to the office
• Truck tachograph and preventative maintenance information
• On return to depo the truck sensor and tachograph information is downloaded for preventative maintenance information and journey log of where and driven by whom for the central records
• Tachograph information is being bluetoothed to the drivers phone and then GPRS back to HQ daily
