Bluetooth® Module Class 1 with U.FL or IPEX Receptacle – LM411
The LM411 uses our own LM072 Series of Bluetooth® Class 1 Module which is within many other LM products and has been within the LM products list for 8 yrs. The Module has its own SIG certificate and has been provided across multiple industries and has a range of specific applications over this term which has enabled LM to offer one of the most compatible stacks in the market today.
By using a universal 12 pin header the LM411 module will plug into a 12 pin socket which enables that module to be fitted onto another PCBA.
This action can be done at your factory or at a warehouse enabling your products in stock or in the field to be retrofitted with a Bluetooth® Wireless upgrade. This is ideal for products new to the wireless market or where the amount of wireless versions vary or are unpredictable.
The 12 pin connector allows the module to be lifted from the PCBA it’s connected to, this keeps the IC antenna free from noise created on the host PCBA, which aids in the LM411 modules performance.
It also allows the module to fit into tight spaces as its footprint of the connector socket is only 4.0mm x 11.0mm connector and enables the module to be fitted into small areas of your PCBA / product.
The LM411 once fitted to its socket, then lies above the components on your PCBA.
This can offer space savings although your PCBA will need to accommodate the modules overall height which is some cases needs to be considered.
Bluetooth® Module Class 1 with UFL or IPEX Receptacle – LM411
This Bluetooth® Module has a Header footprint of just 15.0mm x 14.0mm. It’s connector raises the module by 6.0mm in height away from your PCBA and has an overall height of 8.mm from Base to the top of the module, which is 30.0mm x 28.0 mm x 2.0mm Plus 6.00mm Header Height.
The daughter board is connected to a 12 pin male connector and offers an output of 18.9dBm which created by using an additional power amplifier that are both balanced via tuned circuit to a receptacle, which can be either IPEX or UFL Standard Mounting. From the receptacle LM also supply U.FL or IPEX Male Connectors to SMA Jack via an RF Shielded cable which can be any length, standard 100mmm lengths are carried as a stock product.
Attached to the MALE SMA RP Jack LM also offer a range of SMA RP Omni Antenna’s in the following outputs: 0.5dBi, 2dBi, 5dBi, 7dBi and 9dBi.
We also offer our assistance in helping determine which is the correct output or solution for your application.
The LM411 module is being used in various applications such as:
- RS232 cable replacement
- Wireless Factory monitoring
- Truck/Bus monitoring system
- PLC programming
- Car Diagnostics
- Wireless Printing
- Wireless POS system
- Wireless logistics
- Wireless machines (healthcare/industrial) for monitoring
The LM411 combination offers excellent range and coupled with its Firmware it has proven low latency, while still offering a long distance connection which is capable of reaching 2.25MBps Bandwidth at 100m distance. When measured from itself to itself.
Meeting minimum runs with SMT modules in your production can be difficult if wireless sales are unknown or inconsistent.
The LM411 Module caters for more than just unknown sales as it has such a fantastic reception it also benefits many products which have “closed” enclosures or when used in areas which offer poor signal quality. Radio signals may find certain locations difficult in which to maintain security & stability over longer distances. LM400 Bluetooth® Module IC Antenna was designed to assist in just such applications.
